Key Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to develop individualized treatment and therapy plans
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Conduct thorough evaluations and interpret assessment data
- Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with educational teams and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with all regulations
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute professional expertise
- Educate staff and families on communication strategies and support at school and home
