Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged populations
  • Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to develop individualized treatment and therapy plans
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with diverse needs
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and interpret assessment data
  • Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with educational teams and families
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with all regulations
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute professional expertise
  • Educate staff and families on communication strategies and support at school and home
