Step into a dynamic opportunity supporting students across K-12 settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026/27 school year. This full-time, onsite contract role offers a rewarding chance to impact young learners communication skills and help them thrive both in and out of the classroom. While specific caseload details are being finalized, youll collaborate closely with educators and families to deliver effective, individualized speech and language services.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in South Carolina
- Current South Carolina Educator Certificate required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Experience in school-based settings or with K-12 populations
- Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in group and individual settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support student growth
- Maintain accurate case records and IEP documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to progress reports
- Deliver services onsite within K-12 environments and adjust strategies as needed
