Desired Qualifications:
- Hold an active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience serving K-12 students within school settings is highly desirable
- Strong collaborative and communication abilities with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to evidence-based assessment and intervention practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload (caseload specifics forthcoming)
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Document services, maintain records, and participate in annual IEP meetings
- Offer collaborative support to teachers and staff about communication strategies and student needs
- Foster inclusive learning environments through both individual and group interventions
