Job Description
This position offers an opportunity for a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to provide specialized services in a K-12 school setting during the Extended School Year summer program. The role is part-time and contract-based, serving multiple caseloads across various school sites, allowing for diverse professional experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language evaluations and therapy to students K-12 in accordance with IEPs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other related service providers to support student communication development.
- Manage multiple caseloads and provide services across designated school sites.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing individualized intervention plans.
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- New York Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
