Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting both a Junior High and Elementary this school year. Youll play a vital role during a maternity leave from the first day of school through mid-October, helping students achieve their communication goals and thrive academically.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in both elementary and junior high school settings is ideal
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic assessments and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals in accordance with student needs and school policies
- Support students across various grade levels, ensuring services are age-appropriate and evidence-based
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and services provided
- Consult with educators and families to implement strategies supporting students communication and academic skills
