Job Description

A full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting in Fresno, CA. This contract position offers a comprehensive experience working with diverse student populations and includes caseload management in an educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience working in California schools
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with Special Education Information System (SEIS)
  • Experience supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and facilitators is preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage high caseloads and referrals
  • Candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or those completing Clinical Fellowship year (CF) are welcome to apply

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language pathology services to a caseload of 60-65 students, with approximately 25-30 students receiving speech-only services
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Oversee and potentially supervise SLPAs providing support services
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing program development

This position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, located onsite, and suitable for both experienced SLPs and CF clinicians. Support from SLPAs is anticipated at Alpha Elementary School.
