Seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with a passion for making a direct impact on student success in school-based settings. Three contract opportunities are available for the upcoming academic year, providing vital support to students at several campuses in the Fremont, CA area. These roles require on-site presence; virtual work is not available.
Positions include:
- One SLP starting at the beginning of the school year, continuing until a permanent internal hire is made. This role covers part-time at an elementary school focusing on mid-to-moderate support needs, and part-time at another elementary site supporting general education and preschool students.
- Two SLPs needed from the start of the school year through mid or late September, with placements at either a middle or high school. These positions cover caseloads of 40-50 general education students.
Key Qualifications:
- SLP-CCC certification and prior experience in school environments preferred
- California licensure preferred, but not required
- Ability to work on-site across different schools each day
- Experience conducting assessments and managing diverse student needs
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services in compliance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments to support caseload overloads
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Rotate between campusesone school per day, schedules may vary by assignment
