Qualifications & Desired Background:

  • Valid California SLP license required
  • CCC-SLP certification highly preferred; CFY candidates also considered
  • Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in a school environment
  • Skilled in both in-person and teletherapy service delivery
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
  • Passion for supporting students from diverse backgrounds and abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver direct speech therapy to K-12 students, both individually and in groups
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families and staff
  • Offer guidance to teachers and staff to support students classroom success
  • Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing student support planning
