Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid licensure to practice in California
  • Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
  • Commitment to supporting a wide range of communication needs in students from preschool to eighth grade

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services, including assessment, therapy, and progress monitoring for students aged prek-8
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Offer consultative support to teachers and families for optimal student outcomes
  • Use evidence-based interventions, adapting to the unique strengths of each child
