Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year within a K-12 educational setting in the San Jose area. This contract assignment runs from ASAP through June 11, 2026, offering a chance to provide impactful speech and language support to students across multiple grade levels.

Key responsibilities include delivering speech and language services aligned with individual student IEPs, conducting assessments and evaluations, and collaborating closely with special education teams and families to promote student success. The role involves maintaining thorough documentation and ensuring compliance with district standards. Bilingual communication skills are valued to support diverse student populations effectively. Supervision is provided by paraeducators or related staff as designated by the district.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • California State Licensure as an SLP with CCC certification
  • Experience working in school-based speech-language pathology, preferably within K-12 settings
  • Ability to assess, develop, and implement IEPs
  • Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and families
  • Comfort and skill in providing bilingual services is a plus
  • Familiarity with documentation and compliance requirements

This position operates full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week, and includes the provision of speech therapy focused on school-aged children. Interviews will be conducted remotely via Zoom, allowing flexible interaction. Standard state onboarding requirements, such as fingerprint clearance, will apply.
