Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Fremont, CA area, supporting school-based speech and language services for students. This contract position runs from ASAP through June 11, 2026, providing an engaging environment to work with pediatric populations in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy aligned with individual student IEPs
  • Assess, evaluate, and develop IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary special education teams
  • Provide bilingual communication support and services as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with service delivery requirements
  • Collaborate effectively with families to support student progress

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid California SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience working in school settings preferred, especially involving pediatric caseloads
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop targeted therapy plans
  • Strong collaboration skills to work alongside special education teams and families
  • Bilingual abilities are a valuable asset for effective communication with diverse student populations

Position Details:

  • Full-time contract role (37.5 hours/week)
  • Location: Fremont, CA

  • No formal training provided; prior experience expected
  • Supervision support available from paraeducators, RBTs, CNAs, or LPNs as needed
