Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in a school setting located in Fremont, CA. This role offers the chance to work onsite across multiple school sites, supporting students from preschool through 8th grade with moderate to severe and extensive speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse communication disorders
  • Manage a caseload including preschool to 8th grade students requiring moderate-severe intervention
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation aligned with state and district requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid California license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings preferred
  • Ability to handle a caseload of moderate to severe communication needs, from preschool through middle school
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
