Step into a rewarding contract position supporting K-5 students as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Fredericktown, OH. Work closely with a diverse caseload of 53 students and engage in meaningful interventions that foster communication skills and academic success. Essential Qualifications:
- Hold an active Ohio SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment preferred.
- Proficient in carrying out assessments, developing IEPs, and delivering targeted therapy.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet the varying needs of students.
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades K-5.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and families to support students educational progress and social-emotional development.
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with district and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and progress updates.
Position Overview:
- Full-time, 35 hours per week during the normal school year (NSY).
- Serve a single site with a manageable elementary-only caseload.
- Enjoy flexibility in interview scheduling to accommodate your availability.
- Work within supportive communities near Morris, Danville, and Howard.
