Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time, contract basis near Fredericksburg, VA. This position offers 37.5 hours per week and welcomes both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows eager to develop their expertise in a school-based setting. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Current or eligible licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Virginia
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to organize and manage caseloads across K-12 populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
  • Provide direct and consultative services tailored to student needs
