Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license for Maryland (MD SLP credential required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
- Prior experience with pediatric, school-based, healthcare, or teletherapy environments highly valued
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Comfortable using technology for documentation and remote services
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with district requirements
- Provide both direct and consultative services, in person or remotely
- Work collaboratively with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and report on student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insight as a speech-language expert
