Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold an active state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Prior experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document services in compliance with school and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency impairments in students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, to students as outlined in their education plans.
- Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure holistic support for each child.
- Educate students, staff, and families on strategies to foster communication skills in and out of the classroom.
