Job Description

Enhance your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite just outside Indianapolis, IN. Experience a dynamic contract position supporting students in a welcoming educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning in early August and continuing through early June. Youll work alongside another SLP specializing in nonverbal life skills students, with primary responsibilities centered on conducting evaluations for a caseload of approximately 5070 students.

Qualifications:

  • Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • School-based experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and school staff
  • Commitment to delivering comprehensive speech-language evaluations
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer thorough and evidence-based speech-language evaluations for K12 students
  • Collaborate with another SLP to support nonverbal students and address their unique communication needs
  • Document evaluation results, write clear reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
  • Engage with teachers and support staff to ensure students speech and language goals are understood and integrated into daily instruction
  • Maintain open communication with families and contribute to a positive school community
