Youll work with a diverse caseload of approximately 45 elementary-aged students, providing both assessment and intervention to support communication skills in the classroom.

Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certification (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
• Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders
• Experience in school-based settings or a passion for working with children
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech/language therapy services to elementary students onsite
• Conduct speech and language evaluations, develop IEP goals, and maintain detailed progress records
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams
• Educate families on carryover strategies and student progress
• Stay current with best practices by engaging in professional development
