Step into a school-based role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CFY) empowers students to find their voices and succeed academically. This full-time contract position serves K12 learners across 12 closely located campuses and welcomes both on-site and hybrid candidates. Those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will find district-provided supervision and support, creating the perfect environment for both seasoned SLPs and emerging professionals.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, including detailed diagnostic reports
- Designing and implementing tailored Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Delivering evidence-based direct and indirect speech therapy services
- Maintaining thorough case logs, monitoring student progress, and participating in paid team/IEP meetings
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and school administrators to build a positive learning atmosphere
- Overseeing and mentoring Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as needed
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
- Active or pending Colorado SLP license (CDE credential required if applicable)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) are strongly encouraged to apply
- Background check and fingerprint clearance required before start date
- Experience in school, pediatric, teletherapy, or healthcare SLP roles valued
This opportunity includes a 37.5hour workweek (with paid administrative time and meetings) and a flexible approach to on-site or hybrid schedules, accommodating both local and traveling therapists.
