Make a difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to schools in the Fortson, GA area. This contract role offers an exciting opportunity for both experienced SLP-CCC professionals and SLP-CFYs ready to make an impact in a supportive educational environment. With a flexible start in August 2026 and assignments running through May 2027 (including possible pre/post planning days), youll provide high-quality therapy and support tailored to student needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License
- Current GaPSC Educator Certification
- SLP-CFYs and fully credentialed SLP-CCCs are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in school-based speech-language pathology is valuable
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Dedication to fostering growth and communication skills in students of varying backgrounds and abilities
Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site speech-language assessment and therapy services to students across assigned caseloads
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary teams addressing diverse student needs
- Participate in school meetings, planning days, and professional development as needed
- Adjust interventions to meet student and district goals
