Speech-Language Pathologists with a passion for supporting student communication growth are invited to explore exciting contract opportunities for the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple positions are available, offering flexibility for part-time or full-time schedules, with the possibility of some pre- and post-planning days to ensure a smooth transition. Caseloads will be thoughtfully matched to each clinicians experience and district requirements, fostering both professional growth and student success.
Ideal candidates will bring a thorough command of school-based SLP services along with these qualifications:
- Active Georgia SLP License
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Educator Certification
- SLP-CFYs (Clinical Fellows) are encouraged to apply
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or working toward it
- Previous experience in educational settings preferred; new graduates with school-based clinical experience will be considered
- Strong collaboration skills for working with IEP teams, teachers, and families
- Commitment to onsite work; remote/virtual arrangements are not available
Key responsibilities include:
- Direct therapy and intervention delivery for a diverse student population
- Conducting assessments and contributing to IEPs
- Creating and tracking individualized treatment plans
- Engaging in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborating with educational staff
- Providing valuable input and support to families regarding student progress
- Maintaining detailed documentation in accordance with school and district protocols
Flexible scheduling accommodates candidates seeking both part-time and full-time opportunities, up to 37.5 hours per week. Professional development and mentorship opportunities may be available, particularly for SLP-CFYs transitioning into the educational field.
