A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Fortson, GA. This contract position involves delivering comprehensive speech and language services during the standard school week, providing support that facilitates student communication development and academic success.
Location:
- Fortson, GA
Qualifications:
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in school environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement individualized therapy for speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week
- 5 days per week
