Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques for individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in groups and one-on-one
- Communicate student progress and therapy strategies with families and staff
- Maintain thorough, organized documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
