Qualifications and Desired Skills:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates will be considered
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of IEP process, goal setting, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work with diverse student populations across a variety of ages and needs
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families for student success
- Develop individualized education plans and document student progress
- Maintain accurate records consistent with applicable laws and school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate treatment plans effectively
- Support inclusive practices and consult with staff on classroom accommodations as needed
