Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly recommended
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans in alignment with student needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff collaboration sessions
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for student progress and compliance purposes
- Serve as a resource to staff and families on communication disorders and intervention strategies
