Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to work within school settings along Floridas scenic southeast coast. This contract role is ideal for dedicated SLPs who are passionate about supporting student development and collaborating with diverse school teams across various campuses. Assignments are full-time, with some part-time options, and each SLP will serve 12 school sites based on assignment.
Available positions include both elementary and high school settings within modern and supportive school environments, including newly built campuses. Caseloads vary: some involve K8 with ASD or exceptional education units, while others serve high school students including InD units and collaboration with SLPAs. Team-oriented professionals will thrive alongside experienced colleagues and dynamic special education teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP licensure required (CCC preferred)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly desired, especially in K12 environments
- Ability to manage varying caseloads, including students in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Varying Exceptionalities (VE), and InD units
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Fingerprinting required for credentialing (transferable from DOH)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to assigned student caseloads
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain thorough case documentation and progress tracking
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, other SLPs, and SLPAs
- Participate in team meetings, family conferences, and professional development
