Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Florida SLP license, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Prior experience delivering school-based speech and language services preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and progress reporting
  • Effective communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload while maintaining enthusiasm and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students with speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each students IEP
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy in individual and group settings
  • Maintain accurate records of sessions, progress, and ongoing evaluations
  • Partner closely with classroom teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert input for program planning
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language therapy for school-aged populations
