Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current and valid Florida SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical skills and a passion for pediatrics are welcomed
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Comfort working with diverse student populations and varying caseload sizes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing students' unique speech and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights for goal setting and progress tracking
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to deliver service and promote student success
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports in compliance with district and state regulations
- Provide both direct and consultative services, adapting methodologies for in-person and virtual models as needed
