Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school-based documentation
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on students' needs and educational goals
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation to comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals
  • Offer training and support to teachers and classroom staff on communication strategies
  • Monitor and report progress toward therapy goals
