Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY candidates considered
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school-based documentation
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on students' needs and educational goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals
- Offer training and support to teachers and classroom staff on communication strategies
- Monitor and report progress toward therapy goals
