Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are welcome
- Prior experience providing speech therapy in a school or pediatric setting is highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills and ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) focused on students unique needs
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities
