What we're looking for:

• Current and valid SLP license/certification for the state of Florida
• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Experience working with children or adolescents, especially in schools, is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to effectively assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for a range of communication disorders
• Dedication to promoting equity and inclusion in a diverse school community

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations for students referred for speech and language concerns
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult and collaborate with educators and parents to support classroom strategies and generalization
• Provide resources and guidance to teachers and families to maximize student success
• Contribute to a positive, student-centered learning environment
