Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as an SLP
  • Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in administering assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Compassion and ability to motivate young learners

What Youll Do:

  • Conduct screenings and full assessments of students with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to each student's IEP
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Document student performance, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Offer education and resources for teachers and parents to generalize speech and language skills across settings
  • Provide both individual and group therapy, adapting approaches to meet a wide variety of student needs
