Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP (CCC or CFY considered)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, though not required
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with a variety of communication disorders and best-practice intervention strategies
Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and hearing screenings and evaluations
- Develop treatment plans addressing students unique communication challenges
- Deliver direct therapy services to students individually or in groups
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and other related service providers
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and comply with state and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input for student goal-setting and progress monitoring
- Offer staff training and support to build overall communication-friendly school environments
