What were seeking:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CFs will be considered
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting desired
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population
Your impact will include:
- Assessing students speech, language, voice, and fluency abilities using standardized tools
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Maintaining accurate records for assessments, progress reports, and IEP documentation
- Delivering direct therapy services both individually and in small groups
- Consulting with teachers and families to promote generalization of progress
- Participating in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student success
- Staying current with best practices and ongoing professional development
