Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current and valid state SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs may be considered
  • Previous experience in school settings is highly valued
  • Familiarity with IEPs, assessment tools, and various intervention techniques
  • Strong communication, organization, and record-keeping abilities
  • Positive approach to teamwork and student-focused care

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with a range of communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, parents, and support staff to ensure coordinated services
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to an inclusive school environment
  • Support students in achieving their communication and academic goals
