Job Description

A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Columbus, GA, serving K-12 students. This position offers a structured 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, providing consistent hours and a dynamic school environment focused on supporting student communication development.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
  • Credentials in SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working with school-aged children (K-12)
  • Proven ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders in educational settings

Location: Columbus, GA (Fort Benning area)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations governing school speech-language pathology services
  • Provide direct therapy services focusing on articulation, language fluency, voice, and other communication disorders
