A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Columbus, GA, serving K-12 students. This position offers a structured 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, providing consistent hours and a dynamic school environment focused on supporting student communication development.
Key Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Georgia Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license
- Credentials in SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12)
- Proven ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders in educational settings
Location: Columbus, GA (Fort Benning area)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations governing school speech-language pathology services
- Provide direct therapy services focusing on articulation, language fluency, voice, and other communication disorders
