Job Description

A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school located in Fort Benning, GA. This onsite contract position has a duration of the school year (NSY) and focuses on serving an elementary caseload. The ideal candidate will hold a Georgia SLP license and demonstrate expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly within school settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and individualized therapy to students in elementary grades
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students communication needs
  • Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and comply with state and school policies
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of education plans

Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia Speech Language Pathologist license required
  • Experience or certification such as CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • Background working in schools, pediatrics, and healthcare settings beneficial
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
