Job Description

This contract opportunity will have you working with PreK and kindergarten students, providing impactful speech and language services for the 2026/2027 school year. Enjoy a consistent 35-hour workweek spread over five days as you manage a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLP license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Qualified to provide school-based SLP services (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
  • Experience supporting young children (PreK/Kindergarten) is a plus
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and speech-language disorders
  • Craft and implement individualized therapy plans for each student on your caseload
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
  • Maintain thorough records and timely reporting in alignment with school and legal standards
  • Foster an inclusive, nurturing environment for early learners
