Take the next step in your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting early learners in a dynamic school environment. This contract opportunity will have you working with PreK and kindergarten students, providing impactful speech and language services for the 2026/2027 school year. Enjoy a consistent 35-hour workweek spread over five days as you manage a manageable caseload of approximately 40 students.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Illinois SLP license
- Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Qualified to provide school-based SLP services (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
- Experience supporting young children (PreK/Kindergarten) is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and speech-language disorders
- Craft and implement individualized therapy plans for each student on your caseload
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and progress monitoring
- Maintain thorough records and timely reporting in alignment with school and legal standards
