Youll support a manageable caseload of approximately 55 students, focusing on Pre-K and elementary ages. The position is full-time, offering 37.5 hours per week with plenty of opportunities to collaborate with educators and make a lasting impact on student communication skills.
What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience with pediatric populations and school-based services highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and track individualized therapy plans
What Youll Do:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in Pre-K and elementary grades
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing educational strategies
