As an itinerant provider, youll work directly with young learners, traveling to multiple locations within the area to deliver high-quality therapy services and support their communication growth.
In this in-person role, youll collaborate with educators, families, and fellow professionals while managing a dynamic caseload. Youll also benefit from paid indirect time for essential administrative duties and team meetings, ensuring youre able to provide the best possible care and advocacy for your students.
What Were Looking For:
- A masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license
- CCC-SLP preferred, CFY candidates (Clinical Fellows) are welcome to apply
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings is highly valued
- Familiarity with healthcare and educational best practices in speech-language therapy
- Ability to travel between multiple schools within the district
- Strong organizational skills and effective communication with diverse teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and deliver direct therapy to students
- Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families for student support
- Attend and participate in team meetings (with paid indirect/admin time)
- Adapt to different school environments and manage a varied caseload
