Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or eligible state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred, though Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
  • Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations
  • Background in both educational and healthcare speech therapy settings valuable
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments to identify speech, language, and communication challenges among students
  • Design and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each childs needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
  • Provide direct therapy using evidence-based practices in both group and one-on-one formats
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
  • Engage in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and offer recommendations for continued growth
  • Stay current with latest research and techniques in school-based speech-language therapy
