Job Description

This opportunity is for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) interested in a full-time school contract based in Fontana, CA, serving students from elementary through high school levels. Candidates with credentials such as SLP - CCC, experience in pediatric settings, healthcare, and the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply. CFs are welcome, and candidates holding a Clinical Supervisory Year (CSY) credential will also be considered.

Responsibilities include providing speech-language services, conducting assessments, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), participating in Instructional Support Team (IST) meetings, and delivering therapy across caseloads ranging from mild to severe speech and language disabilities. The position involves managing one caseload of approximately 53-55 students across two elementary schools and a second caseload of about 59-65 students at a high school with an integrated eAcademy. The workload averages 37.5 to 40 hours per week, with stable contract dates from August through December, covering maternity leave assignments.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid California SLP license required
  • Eligibility for or holding Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in educational or pediatric settings
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates accepted
  • Willingness to attend virtual interviews via Zoom
  • Ability to start and commit to the assignment promptly
