Make a difference across El Dorado County by supporting students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers the opportunity to work across diverse educational settings, from El Dorado Hills to Camino, serving a wide range of student needs. With multiple positions available and a variety of assignments, flexibility and adaptability will be key to your success.
In this role, you'll collaborate with educators, provide direct intervention, and empower students with mild to moderateand occasionally severecommunication challenges. As the district covers a wide area, candidates comfortable with travel and shifting assignments throughout the semester will thrive. Both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs are encouraged to apply; supervision will be supported onsite by credentialed SLPs.
Ideal candidates bring a wealth of experience in schools, a passion for student progress, and familiarity with CA Schools and SEIS systems. Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active California SLP license (CCC required or eligibility for CF, SLPA applicants welcome)
- Previous school-based experience and familiarity with SEIS strongly preferred
- Comfortable with mild to moderateand occasional severecaseloads; caseload size will vary
- Willingness to work onsite and travel between school locations within the county
- Flexibility to adapt to possible changes in assignment over the semester
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students from diverse backgrounds
- Maintain thorough progress documentation in compliance with state and district standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide support for SLPAs/CFs as needed
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute insights on student growth
