Job Description

Make a meaningful impact on students lives as a full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school environment near Floyds Knobs, IN. This contract position covers a maternity leave from December through March, offering the opportunity to work directly with students and collaborate with dedicated educational professionals. With a schedule of 35 hours per week, youll play a key role in supporting students communication and academic success.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • DOE certification is required
  • SLP-CCC credentials considered a plus
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong skills in evaluation, assessment, and intervention for students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students with speech and language challenges
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and document progress
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to student plans
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student growth
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
