Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year in a K-12 setting located in Florissant, MO. This contract role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language services across multiple school sites, including specialized self-contained classrooms and elementary settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students with diverse communication needs in a school environment
  • Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with state and ASHA guidelines
  • Provide services mainly in English for monolingual students

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Missouri state license to practice as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations, including self-contained settings preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Location:

  • Florissant, MO with assignments across multiple nearby school sites in the St. Louis area

Employment Details:

  • Contract duration through the current school year, approximately January to early June
  • Full-time schedule, approximately 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day)
  • On-site work required at school locations; remote work not available
