Qualifications:

• Current and valid Massachusetts SLP license
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience with K-12 populations beneficial
• Ability to conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Efficient documentation and case management abilities

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and therapy for students with a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other support staff
• Track and document progress, maintaining accurate and timely records
• Consult with classroom teachers and families to support language and communication goals in the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team discussions
• Provide recommendations for classroom accommodations and modifications
• Stay current with best practices and innovative techniques in speech therapy
