Job Description

A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Florence, Massachusetts. This contract role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time schedules serving K-12 students in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students across grades K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong assessment and treatment skills for a variety of communication disorders
  • Ability to tailor therapy to meet diverse student needs
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
