A contract position is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting in Florence, Massachusetts. This opportunity offers both full-time and part-time caseload options, providing flexibility to match your professional goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments, diagnoses, and treatment for students across K-12 grade levels
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with school staff and parents
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school district and state regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
- Experience working with K-12 student caseloads in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders commonly encountered in educational settings
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
