Desired Skills & Experience:
- Hold a current and valid Massachusetts SLP license
- Experience in a school setting with K-12 populations preferred, but new graduates are welcomed
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
- Comfortable conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and progress monitoring
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary, middle, and high school students
- Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored intervention plans targeting each students unique needs
- Document session notes, progress reports, and maintain required records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and fellow specialists to support students IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Offer support and resources to classroom teachers regarding speech and language strategies
