Desired Qualifications:
- Valid KY licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in delivering SLP services in school-based environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet the diverse needs of students
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students to determine eligibility and need for communication services
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students goals
- Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students in various grade levels
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Support students academic achievement and functional communication within the school setting
