Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Kentucky Speech-Language Pathology licensure required
• School-based experience preferred; experience in elementary, middle, or high school settings a plus
• Strong understanding of various communication, speech, and language disorders
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and individualized therapy plans
• Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt therapy methods for varying age groups and learning needs
• Skilled in documentation and progress monitoring

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to students unique needs
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development and progress reporting
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy outcomes
• Educate school staff and caregivers about speech and language interventions and strategies
• Travel between school sites within the district as needed
