Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) position is available in Florence, AZ, working within an elementary school setting. This role is ideal for a certified and licensed SLP who is passionate about providing comprehensive speech and language support to young students in a supportive educational environment.
Location:
Florence, AZ Elementary School (single site; not itinerant)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students needs
- Collaborate and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Manage a caseload capped at 57 students, including approximately 15 students with Speech-Language Impairment (SLI) only
- Work alongside and provide guidance to an onsite Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) two days per week
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with district policies
Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona SLP License with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required
- Experience in school-based pediatric speech-language pathology services preferred
- No Clinical Fellows (CF) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) candidates accepted for this full-time role
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 12:45 PM
- Position starts ASAP and continues through May 22, 2026 (end of school year)
