Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology (official university transcripts required prior to submission)
  • Active or pending Michigan SLP licensure (proof of application required if in progress)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFYs considered
  • K-12 school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Experience or interest in serving urban student populations
  • Ability to work onsite and travel between schools as needed
  • Prefer candidates with an established supervisor (especially for Flint area)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group speech/language therapy to K-12 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate speech/language strategies into instruction
  • Develop goals, write reports, and participate in IEP/MET meetings
  • Conduct assessments and provide AAC support
  • Maintain accurate records to ensure compliance
  • Provide professional development to staff
  • Travel among school buildings within the district
