Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming school environment. This contract opportunity focuses on working with children in grades K-5, helping them reach communication milestones and succeed academically and socially. The position is entirely in-person, ensuring youre able to build strong relationships with your students and collaborate effectively with education professionals.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing tailored speech and language therapy to K-5 students
- Conducting assessments and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Working closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress
- Tracking and documenting student growth and outcomes
- Participating in team meetings and professional development sessions
- Supporting student success and fostering a positive learning environment
To thrive in this role, youll need:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
- Excellent communication skills to interact with students, staff, and parents
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A collaborative and compassionate approach to student care
This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, but flexible part-time schedules can be considered for the right candidate.
