Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to support elementary students in grades K-5 within a school setting located in Flint, MI. This contract position is in person and offers a comprehensive benefits package. It is full-time at 37.5 hours per week, with part-time applicants also being considered. The assignment extends through the remainder of the current school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, treatment, and support to students in grades K-5
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, specifically grades K-5
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
