This rewarding in-person position is contract-based and located conveniently near Flint, MI. The role is available full time at 37.5 hours per week, with the possibility to accommodate part-time applicants as well. This assignment extends through the remainder of the current school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active state licensure and relevant certifications for practice in Michigan
• Experience with elementary-aged students, particularly within K5, is preferred
• Knowledge in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a range of speech/language disorders
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Ability to adapt services for diverse students and learning styles

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Provide direct therapy to students both individually and in small groups
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and special education staff to integrate strategies in the classroom
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Communicate with families to support student progress and offer practical resources
• Participate in professional development and ongoing school staff activities
