Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Michigan SLP license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience in school settings or with pediatric/young audiences preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Adaptability to work across various age groups and education levels
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to foster student progress
• Maintain accurate records and thorough documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for speech-language strategies and supports
• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed for success
